1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide a better experience for our restaurant owners. This includes:
- Account Details: Business name, email address, password, and transaction data provided during sign-up.
- Integration Data: Connection tokens for Square POS and QuickBooks Online to sync transaction logs, sales summaries, and expense postings.
- Receipt & Expense Images: Image files uploaded via Telegram, which are processed using OCR technology to capture vendor, item, tax, and total values.
2. How We Use Information
Your data is utilized strictly to automate restaurant back-office operations:
- Generating daily/weekly financial reports and margin alerts.
- Publishing automated bookkeeping records (purchases/expenses) directly into your linked QuickBooks Online general ledger.
- Archiving scanned invoices securely to your personal connected cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive).
3. Data Security & Encryption
We take the security of your restaurant’s financial data seriously. All database communication is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS. External integration tokens (Square access tokens and QuickBooks refresh tokens) are encrypted and stored in secure database variables inside our Supabase PostgreSQL architecture.
4. Sharing of Data
KitchenCFO does not sell, rent, or trade your financial or personal data with third parties. Data is shared exclusively with your connected services (Square and QuickBooks Online APIs) at your direct instruction to execute the sync operations.
5. User Control & Disconnection
You maintain full control of your integrations. You can disconnect your QuickBooks Online or Square account at any time via the KitchenCFO onboarding dashboard or directly within your Intuit App Center and Square Developer Console settings.
